SmartTrade and BuildLink Double Points Promotion - Terms and Conditions
1. The 'SmartTrade and BuildLink Double Points Promotion' ("Promotion") is run by Smart Loyalty New Zealand Limited (“Promoter”) and is governed by these terms and conditions and the Smart Loyalty New Zealand Limited Terms (“Smart Loyalty”) and Conditions at www.smart-trade.co.nz/terms-and-conditions. By entering this promotion, you agree to both Terms and Conditions.
2. The full promotional period is 01 July 2022 to 31 August 2022, or until the promoter deems otherwise.
3. Smart Loyalty reserves the right to end the promotion at any time, without notice.
4. Double Points is offered on every $1 spent at BuildLink stores participating in the promotion. Double Points only applies to standard rate issue of 1%. Anyone on a higher earn rate will earn an extra one point per dollar.

6. To be eligible to earn double points and win one of the two prize bundles being given away in the Promotion, the ‘Entrant’ must be a current and valid SmartTrade New Zealand programme member, or enrolled to the programme by a participating store during the promotional period.
7. The Promotion is NOT open to individuals who:
a) are employed by BuildLink or Smart Loyalty,
b) have been convicted of a crime under the Crimes Act 1961.
8. To earn double SmartTrade points, the Entrant must purchase from a participating BuildLink store between 01 July and 31 August 2022. To be eligible to earn points, the Entrant must meet the stores trading terms and the SmartTrade programme terms and conditions.
9. To go into the draw to win one of the two prize bundles being given away, the Entrant must purchase from a participating BuildLink store between 01 July and 31 August 2022. Every time the Entrant makes a purchase, they will receive one entry into the draw to win.
10. One winner for each prize bundle will be selected by the Promoter at the end of each month, July and August.

12. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. If any prize is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute that prize with one of an equal value and/or specification.
13. The Promoter will notify each winner via phone, Facebook or email. If no contact is made within 48 hours, or after reasonable efforts on the Promoter’s behalf, the prize may be forfeited and/or a new winner will be selected.
14. Only the person who originally entered the Promotion can be awarded the prize (‘the Winner’). The Winner must be a contact on the member account.
15.The Promoter’s determination of the Winner will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
16. By entering the competition, entrants and subsequent prize winners grant Smart Loyalty and BuidLink exclusive permission to use their names, characters, photographs, voices and likeness in connection with the promotion and for future promotion and marketing purposes and waives any claims to royalty, right or remuneration for such use.
17. BuildLink and/or SmartLoyalty take no responsibility for loss or injury suffered by the Winner as a result of taking the prizes, except as required by law.
18. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to award any prize to an entrant who they decide (in sole discretion) has violated the rules, gained unfair advantage in participating in the promotion or won using fraudulent means.
19. Each Entrant acknowledges and agrees that:
a) the Promotion is administered by SmartLoyalty,
b) the Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with, Facebook.
20. Entry into the Promotion is deemed to be acceptance of the Rules and confirmation that the entrant has the necessary authority (for example from the bill payer or owner of a telephone) to enter the Promotion.
